Published by IPC Media, Hi-Fi News magazine is edited by Paul Miller with the express intention of bringing the highest critical standards to the assessment of stereo, multichannel audio and AV equipment, including display technologies. We employ a very select group of technicians for our hardware reviews and investigative features, while our home theatre and lab facilities are second to none. Every issue, Hi-Fi News delivers uniquely in-depth reviews of the newest equipment and is essential reading for all music and AV enthusiasts.

Download Test Reports

Enthusiasts are invited to view online or download additional in-depth Test Reports to accompany our reviews in Hi-Fi News Magazine and AVTech (latterly known as The HD Guide) from January 2005 onwards. We ask all enthusiasts to register their name and e-mail address with Miller Audio Research before accessing this password-protected area of the site. Example test reports from 2003/4 can be accessed without registration further down this page. Please note: Javascript must be enabled in your Browser to activate the Registration button.

What is a Test Report?

Each HTML test report is generated directly from the QC Suite Functional Testing Station. This data is uniquely detailed and typically extends beyond that offered by the manufacturers themselves. It must not be used or reproduced in any form by competing publications or their freelance writers who lack this investigative facility.

Test reports can also be downloaded as zip files containing the same HTML report file and its associated images. The contents of the zip should be extracted to a single directory where the HTML file may be opened, offline, in a local browser window. If your browser does not support Portable Network Graphics then these images will not appear.
